Susan Locke
Susan Locke has qualifications in media production, adult education, information science/technology, government, and public history. Susan has had a wide range of work roles including managing a media organisation, consulting to an Aboriginal Land Council on heritage issues, librarianship, teaching in vocational training organisations, developing information technology curriculum and resources, managing IT projects, rural community development, and website design and development.
During 2000 to 2004 Susan designed, implemented and managed the NSW Community Technology Centre Program, a major NSW Government community development project for rural NSW. She led her team in 2003, in the achievement of a Silver Premier’s Award for services to rural NSW.
Since late 2005 Susan has been working for PAW Media and Communications (aka Warlpiri Media Association) at Yuendumu, a remote Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory. She has been Manager of PAW Media since February 2008.
