Have you got video editing software that came packaged with your video camera? Chances are you are finding it quite difficult to get your head around how it all works. Digital video editing can take hours of your time to get right. Grappling with hooking up your camera to your computer is one thing, making sure that you've got good vision and synched sound is another.

What we do
Moving Lines can show you, through its self paced training modules supported by virtual communications, the basic processes involved in video editing.
Our goal is to take you through the framework of non-linear digital editing and explain the basic concepts and structures of editing, irrespective of the software package. We'll do that in as hands-on way as we can, letting you learn as we move through the various stages of producing a video.
We'll show you the tips and tricks used by professional editors to help you create videos that people want to sit through.
Susan Locke of Moving Lines is an experienced information technology trainer and curriculum developer. She was an information technology teacher and curriculum developer in TAFE NSW and has recently been involved in teaching digital video editing to young people at the PowerHouse Museum's SoundHouse in Sydney. Susan is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in film and video at the University of Technology, Sydney where she uses AVID technology for editing, complementing her skills in Sony Vegas.

We deliver out training in modules customised for client's environments
and needs. Participants are provided with a Learner's Guide to support
their further learning beyond face-to-face training delivery.
We can develop different modules for different needs, or customise our standard video editing modules, namely:

Fees
Half day package - AUD$300 plus 10% GST
Full day package - AUD$560 plus 10% GST
